We’re a seriously fun choir! Offbeat sings a cappella music across a wide range of genres – including pop, jazz, traditional, and world music, with the occasional classical piece. We choose music that’s a joy to sing and exciting to share with audiences.
Offbeat is a warm and welcoming group of singers. Some of us read music, others don’t – we mainly learn by ear, so enthusiasm matters more than experience. Rehearsals are relaxed, supportive, and full of laughter.
Our Music Director, Marta Radwan, has led the choir since 2015. Under her direction, Offbeat has performed at events including Choirs at the Tower of London, the Brandenburg Choral Festival, and the Milton Keynes Community Choir Festival.
Offbeat Acton
Offbeat Acton opened its doors in 2023. We meet on Tuesdays during term-time, 8.00-9.30pm, at ActOne Cinema, Acton W3 6NA.
